Assists Corporate IT with diagnosing and resolving Wide Area Network (WAN) issues. Works with Corporate IT staff to facilitate the design of upgrades to the existing network, hardware, and standard software infrastructure.
Communicates local requirements that must be met and assist in the delivery of the final solution.
Supports and maintains Personal Computer (PC) operations including the diagnosis of hardware or software failure.
Maintains hardware and software in compliance with corporate standards.
Acts as the liaison with vendors to repair or replace hardware.
Supports help-desk function for internal and remote users.
Recommends new equipment for special projects according to corporate standards.
Reviews, selects, and recommends equipment and software that is not covered by corporate standards or is required locally.
This position is onsite 5x/week in Canton, MA.
Some University education in an Applied Science or a related discipline plus generally two years of directly related experience.
Demonstrated ability and knowledge of computer systems including network infrastructure, servers and PABX systems.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and demonstrated high level organizational and multi-tasking skills in a technical environment.
