Job Description

The Management Consultant will support the HHS OIG OCIO Organizational Redesign initiative by providing analytical and technical leadership across workforce planning, operational analysis, and performance measurement efforts. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with senior consultants, modernization champions, and client stakeholders to produce high-quality deliverables that guide leadership decision-making and enable a streamlined, data-informed IT service delivery model.

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative, management, and technical leadership to complete contracts or tasks that contribute to effective cost, schedule, and overall performance.
Demonstrate knowledge in program/project lifecycles with analytical skills and specialized qualifications.
Support the development of current state assessments by identifying inefficiencies, redundancies, and skill gaps within the OCIO.
Analyze workforce trends and benchmarks from peer federal agencies to inform redesign recommendations.
Assist in mapping functional responsibilities and workforce capacity to organizational goals and performance metrics.
Contribute to the development of implementation plans, including sequencing of workforce changes, transition timelines, and training needs.

Job Requirements

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Minimum Required Relevant Experience: 8 years of related experience working in the federal government
Must be a US citizen
Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance
Expertise in areas such as Strategic Planning, Computer Systems, Cost Estimating, Functional Analysis, Operations Research, Program or Project Analysis, Research Science, Systems Simulation, and Information Technology

Preferred: experience in IT Data Analysis or Workforce Data Analytics.
