Reporting to the Director of Digital Experience, the Manager of Digital Experience will be responsible for helping to shape our corporate website strategy and owning key workstream and initiatives to make it come to life. The Manager of Digital Experience is often the main point of contact for internal stakeholders in Digital Marketing, Editorial, Brand Marketing, Global Communications and regional Marketing teams.
You take ownership of our corporate website architecture from both a conceptual and technical standpoint, have an intuitive sense of impactful digital experiences and a love of digital content marketing. You can think about our website strategy at a 10,000ft elevation, across all our corporate websites as easily as you can for specific pieces of web content. Collaborating with engineers, designers and business stakeholders to bring projects to success is second nature to you. You are comfortable leveraging analytics tools to make data-driven decisions and recommendations to stakeholders. You can clearly communicate project status to stakeholders, work independently and exercise solid decision-making judgement.
Mentoring junior team members to learn the fundamentals of our team and our website platforms will be a critical and defining part of this role, as will involving them in larger projects in capacities appropriate to their skill level.
What you'll do:
- Own web landing page strategy and production process for integrated marketing campaigns.
- Drive medium-to-large scope website initiatives from beginning to end. Including but not limited to new website customer experiences, web production of editorial or blogging franchises, SEO program across all corporate websites and/or creative performance test and learn initiatives. Includes driving vision, requirements gathering, and project management of rollout.
- Ensure that junior team members and agency support are efficiently triaging day-to-day website content requests, and executing, stepping in to provide training, back-up coverage or improve workflow as needed.
- Regularly perform website analytics to inform future strategies, roadmap and digital experience recommendations
- Defend and promote consistency across our websites, whether it be through content, visual styles, and/or overall user experience and presentation
- Shape and guide CMS author training, including ownership of documentation
- Project manage processes to prune and edit content or assets in response to product re-brands, product sunsets, policy updates or other large-scale content changes requested by business stakeholders
- Inform and influence technological changes and website architecture decisions
Who you are:
Required skills:
- 6-8yrs digital marketing experience, with proven expertise in web channels
- Craft CMS expertise, or similar enterprise CMS software
- 2-4yrs website production experience (or demonstration of having project managed several large web specific projects)
- SEO strategy expertise
- Knowledge of HTML (i.e. using a text editor)
- Basic image editing and optimization techniques and tools
- Have regularly used Google Analytics, Google
