Located in Woodland, WA, LifePort is the leading manufacturer of medical transportation and interior products as well as ballistic armor protection systems for fixed and rotary wing aircraft. Position Summary:
This position provides technical support to both engineering and the production floor on development and production programs. Assists in the development of tooling, process improvement efforts, and production routing to help incorporate lean principles to the production process. Solves routine technical problems, assist in the root cause and corrective action efforts, and acts as a point of contact for shop concerns and questions.
Essential Functions:
- Support assembly build instruction routing creation and upkeep
- Understand all equipment capabilities and operation methods within the company to ensure superb product quality, process capability and efficiency
- Support a smooth production transition into manufacturing
- Support and perform research of customer and supplier documentation to ensure material and processes conform to specifications
- Works with engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques
- Knowledge of quality and certification requirements in regulated manufacturing industries (e.g. AS9100, FAA, and ISO9001)

Job Specifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multitask
- Ability to learn and work within Enterprise Resouce Software (Intuative ERP)
- Good organization skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills and high degree of initiative required
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Must be proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience in SolidWorks and Enterprise PDM
- Experience with Aerospace and Cabin Interiors
- Ability to read and understand Aerospace Drawings
Education, Certifications and Experience:
- A minimum of a High School diploma is required
- 3-5 years’ of related experience
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Working conditions are normal for that of a manufacturing/machine shop/office environment.
