The Marketing Associate will own and execute marketing initiatives for the Charleston division and provide support for other emerging markets throughout the Southeast. This role focuses on event planning and execution, sales enablement, vendor coordination, community involvement, and localized marketing efforts to support community success. Working closely with the marketing team, this person ensures that marketing strategies are effectively implemented at the divisional level.
Key Responsibilities
Event Coordination
- Plan, promote, and execute division-specific events such as grand openings, Muddy Boots Tours, and realtor gatherings to generate interest and engagement.
- Handle event logistics, including vendor coordination, budget management, setup, and on-site execution to ensure a seamless experience.
- Ensure promotional materials, signage, and invitations are prepared, distributed, and displayed effectively.
- Develop event marketing strategies in collaboration with the marketing and sales team to maximize attendance and engagement.
- Track event success metrics, gathering feedback and analyzing attendance to improve future events.
Sales Support & Community Marketing
- Work with the sales team to ensure they have the marketing collateral, product sheets, and sales enablement materials needed to engage potential buyers.
- Assist in developing localized marketing campaigns that highlight community features and attract prospective homebuyers.
- Ensure signage and community marketing materials are requested and delivered on time.
- Support model home and sales center branding, ensuring materials are updated and reflect the most current promotions.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify marketing needs, adjusting strategies to best support community success.
- Liaise with local vendors for signage, promotional materials, branded merchandise, and advertising assets, ensuring all materials meet brand standards and are delivered on time.
- Coordinate with third-party advertising partners (print, digital, and local sponsorships) to enhance community exposure and lead generation; keep track of all active advertising contracts in place for the Charleston division.
- Oversee the ordering and distribution of printed materials, ensuring communities always have what they need.
- Monitor vendor performance, providing feedback and making recommendations for future partnerships.
Community Engagement & Sponsorships
- Identify and coordinate local sponsorships and community partnerships that align with brand goals.
- Represent Hunter Quinn Homes at local events, networking opportunities, and community gatherings to enhance visibility. This role requires occasional after-hours/weekend support of realtor or networking events, which will be communicated in advance as needed.
- Maintain relationships with local organizations, charities, and business groups for potential marketing collaborations.
- Provide regular updates to the Marketing Director on community involvement and sponsorship efforts.
Skills & Qualifications
·Organizational skills to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and event logistics efficiently.
·Event planning expertise with the ability to coordinate and execute community and realtor events.
·Creativity in developing engaging marketing content and promotional strategies.
·Communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
·Independence in managing divisional marketing efforts while staying aligned with company-wide initiatives.
·Collaboration ability to work closely with sales teams, vendors, and the marketing team.
·Graphic design experience is a plus, with familiarity in creating or managing visual assets.
Requirements
- 2+ years of full-time, post-college professional experience in marketing, event planning, or sales support
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Ability to travel occasionally for on-site marketing and events.
- Ability to attend occasional after-hours or weekend networking/community events as needed.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
