Job description
The Marketing Support Specialist (MSS) will work closely with the existing Ford Tech Placement marketing team. The role involves delivering high-quality, complex, and timely materials, work products, reports, and presentations to support various marketing initiatives. The MSS will collaborate with Program Management to develop, implement, and provide ongoing marketing support to achieve program goals.
Responsibilities
- Creating marketing tools for the TPS’s to use at events.
- Producing marketing templates, email drafts, and program emails for daily and ad hoc use.
- Developing and producing print materials such as flyers and posters.
- Assisting with the development and execution of email nurturing campaigns and marketing activities for specific and special events.
- Tracking, reporting, and monitoring marketing activity results.
- Measuring the effectiveness of communication through digital analytics.
- Providing analytical support comparing actual results against budgets and assessing the feasibility of business strategies.
- Creating content using Canva and Adobe Suite.
- Writing and producing copy for print and digital channels, including email campaigns.
- Utilizing email marketing platforms such as Pardot, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and Bit.ly.
- Maintaining documentation for training purposes as needed.
- Analyzing website click-to-purchase conversion rates and promotional effectiveness to drive sales.
- Identifying new markets and devising entry strategies.
- Partnering with product development teams to estimate product demand.
Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of relevant marketing experience.
- Proficiency with marketing tools including Pardot, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Canva, Adobe Suite.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with marketing automation and digital design.
- Strong copywriting skills (samples encouraged).
- Working knowledge of email marketing platforms listed above.
- Experience within the Salesforce.com platform and marketing automation.
- Demonstrated digital design skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to analyze data and generate insights, often independently.
- Motivated, independent, and proactive.
- Hands-on experience designing and launching campaigns and materials.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working with senior leaders.
- Ability to gather requirements from user communities and document them effectively.
