Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience authoring technical papers, reports, or program plans for technical and non-technical audiences on research pertaining to materials science or materials engineering
- Ability to travel up to 15%of the time
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Doctorate degreein a Materials Science or Materials Engineering field
- 2+ years of experience with extractive metallurgy, mineral processing, high-performance steels and superalloys, refractory metals, or magnetic materials in postdoctoral, academic, or industry roles
- Experience in a advisory role
- Ability to demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness when dealing with uncertainty and ask insightful questions that challenge traditional thinking
- Possession of excellent organizational, client service, and analytical skills
