Position Details:
Location: South Florida Baptist Hospital - Plant City
Status: Full Time (non-exempt)
Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Days: Tuesday - Saturday
The Mechanic II is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
Performs demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment to primarily include Mechanical, Utilities and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes.
Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environment.
May be scheduled to work various work shifts and weekends to meet the needs of the hospital not necessarily within the craft lines.
May require travel to perform necessary maintenance work at other BCHS facilities.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
Required - High School or Equivalent
4 years' experience in an acute healthcare setting is acceptable in lieu of HSD/GED
Certifications and Licensure
Required - FL DL
Experience
Required - 5 years as a Service-Related Technician
3 Years Hospital Maintenance is preferred
Preferred - 1 year high-rise mechanical or utilities systems
Preferred - Fourth-Grade Stationary Engineer's License
