We are seeking an experienced consulting professional who understands solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within reporting/analytics, financial, clinical, and health data intelligence product/technology families. Partners and collaborates with our clients to identify data needs, design/build reporting and analytics solutions, and support end user adoption - including education on available solutions and products for client use. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. This is an exciting opportunity to directly impact the healthcare industry by enabling data-driven decision-making.
Through a learned understanding of industry-standard and existing Oracle Health data intelligence data models, you will develop data tables and analytics that meet existing and future clients' needs. In addition, you'll produce and ensure adoption of standards for design, documentation, construction, and deployment of data within existing structures; monitor, report and make recommendations to improve analytical performance; and understand and document both existing and new data models and analytics.
Responsibilities
Develops and configures detailed solutions for highly complex projects.
Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on highly complex customer engagements.
Develops complex strategies and data organization architectures that address industry requirements through collaboration with IT teams and leadership.
Work directly with healthcare stakeholders (e.g., clinicians, analysts, IT teams, executives) to understand their specific data needs and workflows.
Utilize strong SQL skills to validate data integrations, troubleshoot data issues within the warehouse, and develop custom data models and reports for client-specific requirements.
Design and develop user-friendly reports and/or deliver insights that align with the specific analytical needs of healthcare users.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients to ensure successful adoption and utilization of the data warehouse and analytics tools.
Collaborate closely with Oracle's product development and technical teams to provide feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of our health data warehouse solutions.
Assist clients with data governance and data quality initiatives within the data warehouse environment.
Serve as a subject matter expert on the functionality and application of Oracle's health data warehouse, OAC, and various other reporting tools within the healthcare domain.
Contribute to project planning and execution, ensuring timely and successful delivery of engagements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience supporting data warehouse or business intelligence solutions, preferably within the healthcare industry.
Strong proficiency in SQL, with experience in querying and manipulating large datasets within a data warehouse environment.
Hands-on experience with Tableau, SAP Business Objects, or Oracle Analytic Cloud (OAC), including the creation of dashboards, reports, and developing end-user data dictionaries and documentation.
Basic understanding of healthcare data models, terminologies (e.g., ICD-10, SNOMED CT, LOINC), and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with and support users with varying levels of technical expertise.
Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical audiences.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot data-related issues.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with specific healthcare data warehouse platforms or electronic health record (EHR) systems (e.g., Cerner, Epic).
Familiarity with data integration tools and processes relevant to healthcare data.
Understanding of healthcare analytics use cases, such as population health management, quality improvement, and clinical research.
Oracle certifications related to analytics or databases.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $71,200 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
