Packaged Application Development Manager (Accenture LLP; San Diego, CA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Packaged Application Development Manager in San Diego, CA. The job duties include:
- Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
- Develop or update project plans for information technology projects, including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing.
- Maintain applications according to SLAs.
- Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system rollouts, major/minor enhancements, and ongoing maintenance of existing applications.
- Identify and assess complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors, creating solutions for team implementation.
- Supervise a team to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications.
- Conduct project and issue management, including status reporting, issue reporting, and ETC/budget reporting, making decisions in consultation with senior management.
- Adhere to strategic direction set by senior management.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.
- 4 years of experience in each of the following:
- Data integration using ETL;
- ETL process for reporting and analytics;
- Utilizing SQL, Oracle Database, or Oracle Data Analytics;
- Building views, functions, and stored procedures using Toad or SQL Management Studio.
- 3 years of experience in each of the following:
- Developing automation scripts in monitoring applications and deployment processes;
- Using Agile or waterfall methodologies;
- Reporting to project leadership and client stakeholders, coordinating with client teams, and managing onshore and offshore teams or external vendors;
- Project staffing, team management, work stream assignment, and performance management;
- Working with client functional teams, business process leads, end users, stakeholders, or teammates.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time.
