Our expertise spans supply chain management, procurement, manufacturing, service operations, cost efficiency, operational transformation, research & product development, and project management, with a digital and analytics overlay.
What You’ll Do
We are seeking Expert Project Leader consultants in Procurement to partner with clients on complex challenges, drive transformation, and build organizational capabilities for sustainable advantage. Ideal candidates will have industry and management consulting experience, leadership in client relations, and a passion for problem-solving, especially in strategic sourcing.
Our Expert Consulting Track
The ECT is key to delivering deep expertise and technical capabilities for complex client challenges. Experts develop BCG’s thought leadership and intellectual property, often coming from industry, academia, or specialized consulting backgrounds. They work in multidisciplinary teams to bring the best of BCG to clients.
What You’ll Bring
- 10-15+ years in procurement
- Experience in industrial goods, energy, oil & gas, or transportation preferred
- Expertise in direct materials sourcing and program management
- Proven success in cost reduction, category strategy, and negotiations
- Experience presenting to senior management and collaborating with executives
- Strong management, communication, analytical, and conceptual skills
- Ability to manage client engagements and provide thought leadership
- Management and delivery experience
- Track record of building client relationships and growing business
- Degree from a top-tier institution preferred

Travel will vary based on project locations.
First Year Compensation
Partner and Associate Director: $307,400 base salary. Additional bonuses and benefits apply, including health coverage, retirement contributions, paid time off, parental leave, and family benefits.
