A leading Am Law firm is seeking a Partner Recruiting Specialist to support its firmwide lateral partner hiring strategy. This is a high-impact, highly visible role that offers exposure to firm leadership and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to strategic growth efforts. This role can sit in SF, Silicon Valley, NYC, D.C., or Boston & will be hybrid.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership, practice group heads, and senior management to identify and track lateral partner hiring needs.
- Coordinate the full lifecycle of interviews, including scheduling, prep materials, and communication with stakeholders.
- Draft and maintain candidate profiles and materials for internal review and committee use.
- Act as liaison with external recruiters, manage submissions, and track progress to ensure a seamless experience.
- Conduct market research to support strategic recruiting efforts.
- Oversee key pre-arrival and onboarding actions such as conflict checks, bar verifications, and orientation planning.
- Work cross-functionally with departments such as Marketing, BD, and Practice Management to support integration.
- Compile metrics and data for reporting and analysis on hiring activity and trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 4+ years of experience in executive or lateral recruiting within legal or professional services.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and a high degree of professionalism and discretion.
- Comfort interacting with senior leadership and external recruiters.
- Familiarity with systems such as viRecruit, Workday, or similar applicant tracking platforms.
