SAIC has an opening for a PKI Systems Administrator in support of the USSOCOM SITEC 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) contract. The USSOCOM mission is to provide fully capable Special Operations Forces (SOF) to defend the United States and its interests and synchronize planning for global operations against terrorist networks. You will support the USSOCOM mission as we partner with SOF military and civilian members to provide world-class IT services and support that connects over 60,000 users around the world in the areas of software maintenance, network services, security, and end-user computing. This position is based on-site at MacDill AFB, FL.
Role and Responsibilities:
PKI Systems Administrators perform admin level support in accordance with the SIE OPORD.
PKI Systems Administrators must possess strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills, in addition to in-depth technical knowledge of the Government's systems' hardware and software.
The position requirements vary depending on system complexity, the types of operating and network systems being supported, and the size of the organization.
PKI Systems Administrators continuously observe the operation of assigned applications and storage devices to monitor system operation.
This position reconfigures systems in accordance with standard procedures to continue operations when users experience a system malfunction.
PKI Systems Administrators confer with systems engineering if errors require a change of instructions or sequences of operations.
PKI Systems Administrators maintains operating records such as machine performance and production reports.
Qualifications
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI if hired.
Bachelor's degree & 2+ years of experience. 6+ total years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Support Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) roles, policies, hardware, software, and procedures needed to create, manage, distribute, use, store and revoke digital certificates and manage public-key encryption.
Troubleshoot PKI-related client issues to include middle-ware applications and configurations.
Ability to verify the identity of cleared customers and report on number of tokens issued, revoked, renewed, as well as issues encountered.
Able to validate PKI certificate requirements and forwarding revocation requests.
Support the issuance and renewal of Smart Card tokens and provide PKI/LRA support to remote sites/commands.
Installing operating system software, patches, and upgrades.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system hardware, software, and networking issues.
Provide basic support of Identity Management roles, policies, hardware, software maintain AD/GAL synchronization.
Previous PKI / LRA working experience is highly desired.
