To ensure we deliver improved benefit-to-risk solutions, we will guide and expect the market and design requirement specifications underlying our engineering, business development, and clinical research activities, objectively target advancements in standards of care. Job Summary of the Plant Controller Reporting to the CFO, the Plant Controller serves as the financial leader of Axogen's processing facilities in Vandalia and Dayton, Ohio, outside contract manufacturer, and distribution facility in Burleson, Texas providing support and direction to the operations management team. The role provides business and financial advice to management and supports leadership in the establishment of business goals, strategies, priorities, and tactics as well as assessing the financial impacts and resources required to meet financial commitments. The role will also play a key role in financial planning, reporting, and analysis for the facility. The role is 100% in office in Vandalia, Ohio with occasional travel required. Requirements of the Plant Controller

• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance required; Masters in Accounting, MBA (Master in Business Administration) or CPA, a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in financial management role.
• At least 7 years in a manufacturing environment within an FDA-regulated industry, preferred.
• Certified lean six sigma - preferred.
• Previous life science industry experience, preferred.
• Public company industry experience, preferred.
• Experience in Operations/Supply Chain environment including financial reporting, cost accounting and project accounting preferred.
• Experience with Accounting, Manufacturing and Planning Software.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, cost accounting, and financial analysis.
• Experience with Accounting Software, i.e. Great Plains a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change across functions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
