Base pay range
$68,197.00/yr - $119,858.00/yr
Summary
This position is located at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, within the Police Operations Division. As a Police Officer (Corporal), you will be responsible for enforcing laws related to the protection of human life and civil rights.

Duties
The duties of this position at the TR-8 level include:
- Serving as a U.S. Police Officer with authority derived from the Director of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.
- Enforcing laws to protect persons and property on Bureau grounds.
- Preventing, detecting, and investigating violations of laws, rules, and regulations.
- Conducting investigations, maintaining surveillance, and collecting evidence.
Requirements
Conditions of employment include:
- Carrying a firearm; no domestic violence misdemeanor convictions.
- Completion of police training at FLETC or equivalent.
- Background investigation and security clearance.
Qualifications
Minimum age: 21. One year of specialized experience at a level equivalent to GS-6 or higher, involving law enforcement knowledge and responsibilities.
Alternatively, a bachelor's degree in Police Science or a related field, or a combination of education and experience, qualifies.
