Position Summary
The President, APAC Markets, reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, will drive improved growth and consistency in its company-owned countries sharing best practices between company-owned regions and franchised operations to support broader brand growth worldwide. They will work closely with senior leadership to establish financial and operational plans, quantifying them via detailed annual budgets and multi-year projections, with the focus being the company-owned countries in the APAC Markets.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Consolidated P and L responsibility for the company owned APAC countries
- Drive revenue growth and profitability across all APAC markets, setting ambitious targets and implementing strategies to achieve and exceed financial objectives.
- Develop and drive the strategy to ensure both Member Growth and Revenue EBITDA Growth
- Work closely with Country Leaders within APAC to develop and execute comprehensive strategies to drive business growth and market expansion across the region.
- Provide visionary leadership to align APAC operations with corporate objectives and global initiatives.
- Identify emerging market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive dynamics to capitalize on growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with the President, Franchise Operations to coordinate between company-owned and franchised countries.
- Establish and nurture strategic partnerships, alliances, and distribution channels to enhance market penetration and growth.
- Monitor KPIs, sales metrics, and market trends to assess performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop a high-performing team by engaging, coaching, and driving accountability at all levels.
- Ensure operational excellence and efficiency across all APAC operations, including Member growth, retention, and customer service.
- Implement standardized processes and quality standards to optimize performance and customer satisfaction.
- Drive initiatives to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including industry associations, customers, and partners.
- Serve as the primary liaison between corporate headquarters and APAC operations, providing updates and insights to senior management and the board.
- Represent the company at industry events to enhance visibility and build strategic alliances.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year degree or related field experience
- At least 10 years of industry experience, including three in senior leadership roles
- Experience managing P and L
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional, remote teams in a matrix organization
- Strong budgeting, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Leadership, supervisory, and conflict resolution skills
- Fluent English communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin or Vietnamese
- MBA
- Experience in senior leadership within services, membership, franchise, or global organizations
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Sedentary work with occasional lifting (up to 10 pounds), repetitive motions, and extensive visual tasks. Full-time position with duties subject to change.
