YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for purchasing electrical equipment, construction materials, and issuing subcontracts. This position manages, plans/forecasts, and procures inventory with the Procurement Department from multiple suppliers, aligning with the company's strategic goals.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Receive verbal and written requisitions for materials and equipment from project managers and field operations.
Review and source materials and equipment following established company practices and procedures.
Solicit quotations from vendors, analyze, and present findings to management focusing on economic value and procurement objectives.
Create and distribute purchase orders according to company procedures.
Track and expedite existing orders, updating and maintaining schedules in the procurement system.
Support estimating by obtaining vendor quotations for bids.
Prepare submittal documentation for project managers.
Perform additional duties as directed by management.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
Knowledge of electrical equipment and construction materials.
Understanding of procurement techniques, policies, and procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Oracle.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt positively to change.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented attitude.
Professional interaction with all levels of staff, vendors, and clients.
WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a fast-paced business environment with electrical procurement experience.
Relevant education, training, or experience combination.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Primarily indoor work with varying environmental conditions; some physical activity including lifting up to 30 lbs.
Noise levels vary from low to medium; may be loud on job sites.

Pay Range:
$82,000 - $107,600 annually, varies based on experience, skills, and location.
