Base pay range
$136,000.00/yr - $218,000.00/yr
As a Product Designer, you will play a central role in shaping the end-to-end journey of exciting new products in the early education space. This position is ideal for a designer who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving complex user problems, and is passionate about crafting thoughtful, accessible experiences. You will design mobile-first, responsive products for families and caregivers guided by a deep understanding of customer needs. These products will spark joy, nurture children’s learning and development, empower families, and ensure high-quality, equitable outcomes for all students.
As a key member of a newly formed design team, you will drive initiatives from concept to execution by crafting user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and pixel-perfect UI designs. You will report to the director of product design and collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, brand designers, and curriculum designers to ensure products are delightful, effective, scalable, and impactful. - This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, salaried position.
- The full salary range is $136,000 - $218,000 per year. The upper third typically reserved for employees with multiple years in the role and strong performance. Starting salary varies by qualifications and experience.
- This role includes 15 paid vacation days, 4 personal days, 7 sick days, 9 holidays, 5 days for winter break, and additional time off as required by law. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or equivalent experience
- Five+ years in product design, UX/UI, with a portfolio demonstrating impact on customer and business metrics
- Proven ability designing intuitive, accessible, and polished interfaces across devices, grounded in usability principles
- Experience collaborating with engineering and product teams
- Using qualitative and quantitative research to inform design decisions
- Expertise in Figma, including prototyping and design systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in consumer products, e-commerce, education, or content platforms
- Building and launching responsive, mobile-first products from inception
- Applying brand principles and using prototyping tools for validation
- Strong storytelling skills for user journeys and concepts
- Balancing craft, speed, and business impact
- Designing and evolving scalable design systems supporting consistency and efficiency
