About The Role
As Orby continues to build our products and serve new customers, we are looking for an experienced Product Designer to help craft the future of human-AI interactions at Orby. You will work on diverse design challenges, such as teaching AI about workflows, integrating with internal systems, and managing decision hand-offs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle, from research to launch and ongoing improvement. This role requires navigating ambiguity, diving deep into complex problems, and balancing strategic and tactical thinking.
What You'll Do At Orby
- Contribute to overall product strategy and design direction for human-AI interactions.
- Explore complex problem spaces, uncover customer needs, and identify design opportunities.
- Define, iterate, and deliver high-quality design concepts, user flows, interaction patterns, and visuals.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and other designers to build and ship designs.
- Support and elevate the design team culture, practices, and quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software product design, with enterprise and AI/ML experience a plus.
- Proven impact through shipped designs.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders and teams.
- Proficiency with various design methodologies and tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Design, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Work location
This is a full-time role based in Mountain View, CA, or Seattle, WA, with a hybrid model (3 days in-office). Core hours are expected during the workday.
Compensation
We offer competitive salary packages, including benefits such as health plans, unlimited PTO, paid lunches (in-office days), and 401(k) matching. The estimated salary range in California is approximately $130k-$200k, subject to variation based on experience and other factors.
