Job Title: Production Lead
Job Description
As a Production Lead, you will oversee a team of 15-20 general laborers, ensuring all products are assembled correctly. You will be responsible for reading shop drawings and tape measures, operating overhead cranes and sit-down forklifts, and ensuring tools are readily available for your team. You will also ensure the team works safely and efficiently to achieve production numbers, participate in leadership meetings, and communicate goals to your team. This role involves 30% leading and managing the team, with 70% hands-on working alongside general laborers.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage a team of 15-20 general laborers.
Ensure products are built correctly by reading shop drawings and using tape measures.
Operate overhead cranes and sit-down forklifts.
Supply necessary tools to the team.
Maintain safety and efficiency to meet production goals.
Participate in leadership meetings and relay information to the team.
Balance leadership duties with hands-on general labor tasks.
Essential Skills
Proficient in reading shop drawings and using tape measures.
Experience in operating forklifts and cranes.
Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role within construction or manufacturing.
Strong mechanical and production skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bilingual skills are a significant advantage.
General labor experience in construction and safety.

Work Environment
The role operates on a day shift from 6am to 5pm, with flexibility to work overtime as needed. The position is based in an outside warehouse that is non-climate controlled, loud, and dirty. Expect to work over 10 hours of overtime weekly, including occasional mandatory Saturdays with a three-day notice.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
