Base pay range
$95,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr
Location: Virtual, East Coast preferred

Position Overview
The Program Director plays a crucial role in ensuring partner success and organizational growth by leading a portfolio of school system partnerships while contributing to ABC's program development and implementation strategy. This position offers an opportunity to drive meaningful change in how schools serve students with diverse learning needs while working with a dedicated team committed to educational equity.
Core Responsibilities
The Program Director will deliver on the following responsibilities:
Partnership Leadership and Strategic Support (40%)
- Serve as the primary relationship manager and strategic thought partner for assigned partner school systems
- Build and maintain deep trust and credibility with partners while driving meaningful change toward educational equity
- Provide strategic, actionable coaching that builds partner capacity to navigate complex change and implementation challenges
- Analyze complex educational systems to identify high-leverage opportunities for sustainable, equitable change
- Ensure high partner satisfaction and retention through responsive, high-quality support
Program Design and Implementation (30%)
- Create and deliver transformative learning experiences that drive mindset shifts and behavior change among leaders and educators
- Adapt and implement ABC's frameworks with fidelity while effectively customizing for local contexts
- Support the ABC’s leadership in developing and refining program models, content, and tools
- Use quantitative and qualitative data strategically to track progress and drive continuous improvement
- Contribute to the development of scalable, equity-focused program solutions
Team Collaboration and Growth (30%)
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure aligned partner support
- Model ABC's orientations in all interactions with partners and team members
- Contribute to ABC's strategic planning and program development initiatives
- Support business development efforts through proposal development and partner cultivation, when appropriate
- Contribute to organizational learning and knowledge management
- Position has potential to grow into people management as the organization scales
- All other duties, as assigned
Preferred Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in education, with significant experience in special education and/or school system leadership
- Demonstrated success in managing complex projects and leading systemic change initiatives
- Strong track record of building and maintaining strategic partnerships
- Excellence in facilitation and adult learning
- Deep understanding of special education, learner variability, and educational equity
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using data to drive continuous improvement
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and contribute to team development
- Experience working in or with urban school districts
