?? What You'll Do
As a Purchasing Assistant, you'll play a vital role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that our engineering and production teams have the materials and components they need-on time and on spec. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing vendor relationships and maintaining strong communication with suppliers
Assisting in sourcing and purchasing materials, supplies, and services
Tracking inventory levels and ensuring timely replenishment
Reviewing and processing purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents
Collaborating with engineering teams to support component selection and risk assessment
Ensuring compliance with company standards, timelines, and quality expectations
??? Technical Collaboration
You'll also work closely with our engineering team on exciting projects, including:
Supporting the design of circuit boards for aerospace applications using Altium
Engaging in power electronics development and testing
Working with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, and Ethernet
Assisting in evaluating and mitigating risks in component selection
? What You Bring
Experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative roles
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
High attention to detail and accuracy in order entries and inventory records
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Adaptability to new systems and processes
Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Experience in inventory management or customer service
Familiarity with ERP systems or procurement software
?? Work Environment
This is a fully on-site position to start, located in a collaborative and innovative workspace. After an initial period, you may be eligible to work one day per week remotely. You'll report directly to the Supply Chain Manager and work alongside a passionate team of engineers, technicians, and operations professionals.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
