Position Title: Quality Control Microbiology Technician

Typical Accountabilities:
- Conduct activities and interactions consistent with Company values and in compliance with the Code of Conduct and supporting Policies and Standards relevant to your role. Complete all required training on the AZ Code of Conduct and supporting Policies and Standards on time. Report potential issues of non-compliance.
- Provide support services for analysts in the QC lab, including cleaning and maintaining the general lab facilities and glassware, ordering lab chemicals and supplies, and inventory management.
- Perform aseptic sampling of viable and non-viable environmental monitoring and water.
- Accurately complete all data entry requirements using ALCOA+ principles.
- Prepare solutions and standards accurately and with appropriate documentation.
- Operate the autoclave to ensure a reliable supply of sterile supplies.
- Perform receiving duties.
- Assist in QC archiving, logbook management, and records retention.
- Perform basic metrology and housekeeping duties.
- Maintain adequate inventories for tasks (e.g., reagents, glassware, media).
- Receive incoming samples for testing.
- Participate in QC project teams.
- May perform basic laboratory tests for which they are trained.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication with personnel inside and outside of QC.
- Fulfill other responsibilities as indicated by management and consistent with skill level and training.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years' demonstrated capability performing duties in aseptic manufacturing areas.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Associate's or other technical Degree.
- Prior GMP experience.
- Prior Biologics experience.
- Experience in aseptic sampling and testing.
- Microbiology experience.
- QC experience.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM.
