Nexeo HR is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to support a highly regarded outdoor equipment manufacturer in Salt Lake City,UT. Responsibilities

Inspect incoming raw materials and finished goods for quality,consistency,and accuracy
Perform precise measurements using calipers,micrometers,and other QA tools
Identify,document,and manage nonconforming materials through appropriate channels
Collaborate with Production,Sales,and Customer Service teams to resolve quality issues
Approve or reject materials based on visual and mechanical testing standards
Conduct inspections on custom diving equipment (e.g.,drysuits,fins,masks)
Assist with salvage,rework,and recall processes as needed
Maintain detailed records of inspections and product quality outcomes
Perform physically active warehouse tasks,including standing,lifting (up to 50 lbs),and product handling

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a quality control,inspection,or manufacturing role
Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings or technical specs
Proficient in the use of measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and consistency
Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written)
Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced production setting

Pay

$20.00 - $23.00 Per Hour

Schedule

Day Shift | Monday Friday | 8:00AM 5:00PM
