POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate Financial Analyst with 1-2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. We are looking for an individual to contribute to the growth of our company and existing portfolio by reporting on existing assets, underwriting new investments, and researching markets. The position is wide ranging in scope and offers exposure to many facets of real estate investing: asset management, investment strategy, debt, equity, joint ventures, acquisitions, and more. The ideal candidate is team player with a desire and flexibility to take on whatever responsibility is paramount that day.
The candidate needs to be detail-oriented, analytical, skilled in Excel, and eager to learn. An interest in and experience with emerging technologies and artificial intelligence would be considered a valuable asset.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis for real estate investment opportunities, including cash flow projections, sensitivity analysis, and risk assessments.
- Prepare detailed financial models using Excel to evaluate potential investments, development projects, and portfolio performance.
- Assist in the preparation of investment memorandums, presentations, and reports for senior management and investors.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, property performance, and economic conditions to provide insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with the acquisitions, development, and asset management teams to support transaction due diligence and feasibility studies.
- Conduct property and market research to identify potential investment opportunities and market trends, incorporate into charts and graphs for investor presentations.
- Create, maintain, and update financial models for new deals and operating assets in a timely fashion.
- Gather and analyze market data from various sources, incorporate into charts and graphs for investor presentations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE
- 1-2 years of experience in real estate finance, investment analysis, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Solid understanding of real estate valuation techniques, investment metrics, and financial concepts.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to write high-impact, detailed reports summarizing the results of financial analysis and financial projections.

- Ability to work from home and in the Arlington, VA office.
