We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team in Folly Beach, South Carolina. In this contract-to-permanent position, you will play a key role in handling administrative tasks, managing customer communications, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This is a part-time role offering an excellent opportunity to develop your organizational and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
Sort and distribute incoming mail to the appropriate employees on a daily basis.
Direct customers to the correct departments or resources to address their queries.
Manage multi-line phone systems, answering calls promptly and professionally.
Maintain accurate records and organize files to support administrative operations.
Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings as needed.
Assist with data entry tasks and email correspondence to ensure timely communication.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
Support additional administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent credential is required.
Previous experience in an office administrative setting is preferred.
Familiarity with cashiering tasks, including batching bank deposits and managing closeouts, is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation.
Ability to maintain courteous and detail-oriented interactions with the public and coworkers.
Demonstrated reliability and punctuality in attendance.
