Job SummaryThe Residential Security Team Agent is tasked with supporting a protective security detail in San Francisco, CA. This role operates in a dynamic, multi-faceted, and fast-paced environment.
Duties
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the safety and security of designated principals and their properties.
- Monitoring principal, property, and neighborhood activities.
- Overseeing property and area via CCTV and physical checks.
- Monitoring media for threats.
- Controlling access and maintaining security logs.
- Driving or tailing principals, family, or guests.
- Conducting advance work and screening deliveries.
- Monitoring weather, traffic, safety incidents, and current events.
- Coordinating with site staff and supporting household tasks.
- Ensuring 24/7 operational readiness.
- Supporting the executive protection team and participating in off-site assignments.
- Maintaining proficiency with security equipment and technology.
- Traveling locally as needed.
- Working flexible hours, including overtime, night shifts, and weekends.
- Remaining vigilant during extended periods in vehicles or security posts.
- Working independently and as part of a team to solve problems proactively.
- Keeping a professional appearance and maintaining good personal hygiene.
- Communicating effectively via phone, text, and email.
Position Qualifications
- 2-4+ years in security, military, or law enforcement roles.
- Physically fit for emergency responses.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
- Ability to patrol and access areas quickly.
- Capable of physical restraint if necessary.
- Prolonged sitting and standing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and drag individuals over 200 lbs.
- Physical agility for bending, twisting, and responding to emergencies.
- Teamwork and strong situational awareness.
- Multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency with firearms and security technology.
- Critical thinking and sound judgment.
- Professional demeanor and high ethical standards.
- Experience with residential or fixed-site security, social media tools, defensive tactics, medical support, and executive protection training.
- Active First Responder, EMT, or paramedic certification preferred.
- Experience working with children and outdoor activities.
Full-time, rotating shifts averaging 15 12+ hour days per month, including day/night shifts, holidays, and overtime. Local travel may be required.
Salary and Benefits
- Hourly rate of $36.75, with minimum annual compensation of $110,000.
- Overtime and double-time as per laws.
