Base pay range

$116,000.00/yr - $168,000.00/yr

This role supports a global sanctions compliance program for a leading social media and fintech company with diverse products and services across multiple lines.

Sanctions Compliance Officer Responsibilities:

1. Assess the effectiveness of Meta's sanctions compliance policies and identify improvement areas.
2. Develop recommendations to enhance the sanctions compliance framework in response to regulatory changes.
3. Provide guidance and training on sanctions compliance policies within Meta.
4. Collaborate across teams to integrate sanctions compliance into business processes.
5. Stay updated on sanctions regulations, laws, and industry best practices.
6. Review Meta's sanctions compliance program periodically to identify vulnerabilities.
7. Manage special projects to maintain or improve the sanctions compliance program.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in law, finance, international relations, or related fields.
2. At least 3 years of relevant experience in the fintech industry.
3. Understanding of sanctions laws and experience with screening technologies.
4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and in teams.
6. Experience analyzing data for relationships and trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in SQL and Python is a plus.
