Job Description
We are looking for a SAP Payroll and Time Management Specialist to provide technical direction in the analysis, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and maintenance for bug fixes and enhancements related to SAP Payroll and Time Management configuration, rules and schemas, Tax Reporter, BSI Tax, posting to Finance, and related interfaces. This position will be a long-term contract, full-time, and remote.
Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, only US Citizens and Green Card Holders/Permanent residents will be considered for this role. Candidates must be able to work directly on CAI's W2.
What You'll Do
Provide technical direction in the analysis, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and maintenance for bug fixes and enhancements related to SAP Payroll and Time Management configuration, rules and schemas, Tax Reporter, BSI Tax, posting to Finance, and related interfaces
Facilitate business process discussions to gather and clearly document business requirements which ensure value-add and meet client objectives
Create test strategies and ensure all functionality is tested prior to production deployment
Work with the Change and Release Management team to ensure representation and coordination of projects throughout the change and release process
Work closely with Project Managers to ensure successful completion of project deliverables
Actively participate in design discussions and program functional reviews
Work with vendors to perform upgrades for third-party applications such as Tax Factory and EPI Use Tools (Data Sync Manager, Query Manager, and Variance Monitor)
Continuously drive excellence in optimizing services and work processes, improving quality and reliability, and lowering total costs
Deliver and maintain existing services, resolve incidents and problem management, meet SLAs, and provide rotational on-call coverage
Manage SAP background job schedule modifications and additions; work with the IT Batch Management Team and Automic scheduler
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor's degree in technical discipline such as computer science
Excellent understanding of Payroll and Time Processing Methodology
5+ years' experience in configuration of SAP Payroll, Time Management, rules, and schemas, Tax Reporter, BSI Tax, and posting to Finance
Working knowledge of SAP and the integration points with other SAP modules and non-SAP systems
Ability to resolve complex business requirements via SAP configured solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc
