As a Security Professional - Resort Patrols in Bethesda, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more .
As an unarmed patrol officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for guests and staff. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with your team, upholding integrity, and adapting to the needs of the location. Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within hotel and resort locations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel or resort property, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site-specific procedures.
Assist guests and staff with directions, information, and general inquiries, providing a visible presence throughout the location.
Collaborate with hotel or resort management and local authorities as needed during emergency situations or investigations.
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
