As a Security Professional - Unarmed Healthcare Site Patrol in Elkridge, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your strong communication and customer service skills support positive interactions. Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, patients, and visitors as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and helping to maintain a secure environment for all individuals on site.
Support emergency response efforts by following established procedures and coordinating with healthcare staff and first responders when necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
