BAE Systems in Westminster, Colorado is looking to hire a Security Specialist to support the Program Security Consolidated Persec- ensuring the requirements of the National Industrial Security Program Manual (NISPOM) and other applicable manuals as implemented and compliance is maintained. Support the SMS PERSEC team with clearance processing, SMS Visitor Control, and Special Programs across the growing sector. What You ll Do:
Acquires, reviews, and processes to completion- Initial Clearances, 5 year Clearance reinvestigations, reinstatements and clearance upgrades.
Process SMS New Hire s and Terminations- SIMS/DISS.
Support and process PSQs, Foreign Travel and reporting as per Special Program Requirements.
Working Knowledge of SIMS, DISS, eQIP/eAPP and NBIS.
Maintain SMS SIMS and DISS.
Maintain Persec Folders and SharePoint databases.
Provide/maintain monthly and quarterly metrics.
Maintain continuity plans relative to the PERSEC office.
Professional demeanor, good people skills, ability to communicate effectively, performs in a multi-tasked environment.
Ability to manage time, make sound decisions, work independently, analyze problems and provide focused solutions.
Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.

On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor s degree plus 2 or more years related experience.
Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
Experience with PC and Microsoft Office Software, good writing skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience providing briefings or public speaking.
Decision Making and reasoning skills.

A security clearance or access with Polygraph is not required to be eligible for this position. However, the applicant must be willing and eligible for submission, depending on program requirements, after an offer is accepted and must be able to maintain the applicable clearance/access.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Working knowledge of SIMS, DISS, EQIP EAPP.
Experience conducting or supporting background investigations for security clearance applicants.
Interim Secret clearance, Secret clearance, or Top Secret clearance.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $66084 - $112343

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
