Minimum Requirements
• 24 months of experience in the Financial Services Industry or Asset Servicing; relevant experience preferred (please specify if applicable)
• Flexibility to work in shifts and/or on a rotational basis
Overall Knowledge
• Good knowledge or experience in Asset Servicing; familiarity with Securities Lending, Settlements, and Collateral Management is advantageous.
• Understanding of risks associated with Lending and Asset Servicing practices
• Attention to detail for quality checks and reporting
• Operational knowledge of systems like GSL, CREST, Euroclear, TLM is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Team player qualities
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Understanding of performance driving concepts
• Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines with minimal supervision, escalating issues when necessary
Major Duties
• Develop and maintain subject matter expertise and provide input as needed
• Liaise with internal teams to resolve issues and minimize exposure, including Securities Lending Trade desk
• Maintain good relationships with borrowers and collateral Tri-party agents
• Act as a process expert in international and domestic markets for trade settlement and collateral operations
• Manage risk and controls for the assigned group
• Build effective relationships with offshore partners and relevant departments
• Provide training for new and experienced staff
• Ensure timely responses and resolutions, prioritizing key client deliverables
• Contribute to procedural improvements for efficiency and risk mitigation
• Assist clients, partners, and staff with complex issues, maintaining technical knowledge of Securities Lending Operations
• Maintain data for MIS reporting
• Participate in or lead projects at the division or practice level
