Summary
In this role, you will perform complex analysis functions supporting a large hospital system in various capacities. You will conduct detailed financial analyses, including pricing, rebates, and administrative fees to identify savings opportunities. The role requires expertise in data analysis, managing projects, and adapting to change. Interaction with management, team members, internal customers, and report interpretation are essential.
Responsibilities:
Lead analytics projects by creating data sets and coordinating ad-hoc analyses to address inquiries and resolve anomalies.
Analyze PO line item data submitted by members to determine product usage and costs through data mining, cross-referencing, and pricing applications, considering contract details, benchmarking, and clinical factors.
Communicate savings and cost reduction initiatives via spreadsheets, presentations, meetings, and one-on-one discussions with the Client Manager/Client Executive.
Interpret report results based on market and product knowledge.
Collaborate with the Client Manager/Client Executive to gather requirements for new requests and determine suitable analytical solutions.
Identify trends and performance metrics using benchmarks or developing new ones.
Create visualizations and reports to support findings and develop recommendations.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of data analysis experience required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills required.
Strong communication, project management, and presentation skills are highly preferred.
Healthcare experience is a plus.
Willingness to travel.
Additional Information:
Estimated Hiring Range: The current salary range is $68,500 to $116,300, considering skills, experience, and geographic factors. This position is incentive eligible.
