You will drive the following Responsibilities:Apply a deep knowledge of economics and finance to build models and investment systems which help us better understand global markets, investment flows, companies, and countries. Abstract our under-standing of markets, companies, and countries into models that help us better predict and bet on the global economy. Analyze economic/financial data and information - identify the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts. Develop core analytical capabilities or model libraries, using advanced statistical, quantitative, or econometric tech-niques. Provide application or analytical support to researchers on issues such as valuations or data. Maintain or modify financial analytic models in use. Devise or apply independent models or tools to help verify results of analytical systems. Define or recommend model specifications or data collection meth-ods. Confer with other engineers or analysts on trading strategies, market dynamics, or trading system performance to inform development of quantitative techniques. Interpret results of financial analysis procedures. Collaborate with product development teams to research, model, validate, or implement quantitative structured solutions for new or expanded markets. Consult investors or other financial in-dustry personnel to determine the need for new or improved analytical applications. Supervise and as-sign work to programmers, designers, technologists, technicians, or other engineering or scientific per-sonnel. Minimum Qualifications:Requires Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, financial engineering or a closely related field of study and 3 years of experience in any job title/occupation/position involving financial services. Experience specified must include 3 years of experience in each of the following: Using broker and vendor data to build up representations of markets from individual securities and/or broadly representational instru-ments while capturing important differences in datasets, sources, and conventions; Modelling pricing, valuation, trading, or derivative values across asset classes using historic and real-time data; Mathemati-cally analyzing investment outcomes, their performance and characteristics in different economic condi-tions, the effects of including or excluding assets and instruments, risk profiles, and their sensitivity to financial and political developments; Evaluating and implementing academic and practical advances in market mechanics, trading, financial data modeling, and/or derivative calculations; Building market and financial models across asset classes, implementing key financial frameworks and applicable market me-chanics; Representing and using data from key macroeconomic frameworks and reports, including GDP, CPI, balance of payments, business cycles, commodity cycles, and credit cycles; and Modelling macroe-conomic conditions and their effects on the performance and characteristics of financial instruments.
