We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and validation of electro-mechanical systems in respiratory, sleep, and cardio-pulmonary care. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and make a real impact in patients’ lives, this is your team.
🛠 What You’ll Bring:
- BS in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience (medical device industry preferred)
- Experience designing mixed analog/digital PCBs, power supplies, and motor control systems
- Hands-on skills: board bring-up, troubleshooting, lab work (oscilloscopes, multimeters)
- Protocol fluency: Ethernet, I2C, SPI, etc.
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC best practices, external PCB manufacturing, and regulatory standards (IEC 60601, FDA)
🌟 Preferred Extras (Bonus Points If You Have):
- Altium Designer experience
- BLDC / stepper motor & electro-mechanical design
- FPGA skills & embedded microcontroller experience
- Wireless communication knowledge
- FMEA & design documentation experience
- Experience building turnkey test fixtures & prototypes
🔧 What You’ll Do
- Lead electrical design for electro-mechanical medical devices
- Develop and test high-performance circuit boards
- Troubleshoot hardware-software systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and marketing
- Support NPD and sustaining projects
- Prepare documentation, validation reports, and design reviews
💻 Your Work Environment
- Primarily office-based with some lab work (engineering lab)
- Minimal lifting (<5%) of equipment
- Hands-on role with lots of creative problem solving
