RMA Northern California, part of the RMA Network, a leading fertility practice in the United States, is seeking a Senior Embryologist to join our growing San Francisco team. The position involves rotating hours from Monday-Wednesday and Saturday-Wednesday, 6am-3:30pm.
This role requires executing laboratory procedures according to established policies and maintaining adherence to RMA's quality assurance/control procedures. The ideal candidate will have previous embryology experience and will perform all clinical embryology tasks independently, aligning with RMA's Laboratory Philosophy, Mission, and Standards.
Responsibilities:
- Follow policies for IVF procedures, specimen handling, and tissue storage.
- Maintain quality assurance, quality control, and operational guidelines.
- Adhere to documentation and OSHA safety requirements.
- Achieve proficiency to perform lab services independently and efficiently.
- Participate in clinical and research lab operations as directed.
- Identify and resolve problems affecting patient outcomes.
- Participate in proficiency testing and research protocol development.
- Attend meetings and continuing education programs as scheduled.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Science.
- Minimum of 4 years embryology experience.
- Strong performance aptitude and judgment regarding clinical data.
- Excellent work ethic, motivation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, access and input data on computers.
- Knowledge of office procedures and equipment.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
