Senior Manager, Compensation

We are looking for a Sr Manager, Compensation to join our Total Rewards team. The ideal candidate is detailed, customer-focused, results-oriented, flexible, and capable of managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, deliver, and manage compensation programs for assigned client groups
- Consult with Human Resource Business Partners and Business Leaders, providing strategic compensation guidance
- Develop proposals and presentations to influence senior decision-makers about compensation programs
- Perform analysis on the effectiveness and competitiveness of compensation programs
- Conduct benchmarking and job evaluation using market data and internal evaluations
- Serve as the primary compensation contact for executives and internal partners
- Coach junior team members in analytical and strategic support
- Lead mid-year and year-end compensation cycles for assigned groups
- Lead strategic compensation projects and initiatives across client groups
- Collaborate with recruiters on developing competitive offer packages
- Exhibit leadership within the team and the compensation community
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- Minimum 5 years in compensation, finance, or analytics, or a combination
- At least 5 years in client management or consulting
- At least 3 years of experience with Excel and developing data-driven presentations
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in relevant fields
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
- 7+ years in compensation, finance, or analytics
- Experience with Workday and advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
- Experience with benchmarking and reporting tools

The salary range varies by location, with specific ranges provided for McLean, VA; New York, NY; and Richmond, VA. The role is eligible for performance-based incentives, including bonuses and long-term incentives.
