Sr. Product Analyst
Job Description

This role will oversee building and managing our pet health and wellness products countrywide reporting to the Head of Product and Analytics. You’ll collaborate with all areas of our business, including claims, marketing, and operations to develop and implement our strategic vision. You’ll work closely with our underwriter to design, develop, file, implement, and manage all our products. You’ll have the opportunity to make immediate business impacts and be a direct contributor to the strategic vision of the team and organization.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- Gain a deep understanding of our customer to identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth.
- Work with our underwriter to design, develop, file, implement, and manage all our products.
- Perform analyses to better understand customer behavior and likelihood of claims.
- Implement segmented changes using claims and customer behavior data to optimize impacts.
- Monitor the competitive landscape to ensure we are appropriately positioned in the market.
- Work closely with the data science and analytics team to drive insights, regularly update our rating plan, and increase our analytical sophistication.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements.
- Work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Manage and develop product analysts as needed.
Skills and Experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- 1+ years’ experience in insurance product management or analytics
- Bachelor's degree in a technical and/or business management related field
- Expert in the Microsoft office suite including Excel
- Proficiency in SQL
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues with diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
- Capable of operating with minimal supervision and thinking independently and innovatively.
