R&P is seeking a motivated Senior Program Analyst to support our customer’s leadership directly. We are a small defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management, and Technical Services to government clients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare program and project documentation such as briefings, plans, concept papers, white papers, meeting minutes, and action item reports.
- Perform operational, administrative, and executive functions for external and internal Project and Program Managers.
- Analyze projects and programs to assist managers with planning, monitoring, and resource allocation, including financial and contractual data.
- Collaborate with various organizations such as Supervisor Shipbuilding, NAVSEA Warfare Centers, Shipyard, In-Service Engineering Agents, Suppliers, and Ship’s Crew to resolve complex issues.
- Support areas including program management, operations, contract management, business and financial management, earned value management, configuration and data management, quality control, cybersecurity, information assurance, and risk management.
- Develop plans with budgets and schedules to meet contractual and project requirements.
- Maintain electronic databases related to shipboard equipment installation, operation, maintenance, and alterations.
- Analyze data to identify problems and trends.
- Review contractual requirements and define project or program needs.
- Conduct schedule risk assessments to mitigate project costs and schedules.
- Create evaluation methodologies and analyze data to assess goal and requirement fulfillment.
- Implement and measure the effectiveness of new program planning policies.
- Create database queries and generate custom reports.
- Develop reports, documentation, and project plans; prepare and deliver briefings.
- Lead and facilitate project and program meetings and events.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership experience in team management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 15 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with US Navy, NAVSEA, or DoD Acquisition Programs is preferred.
