About the Role
As a Project Manager, you'll partner with project superintendents and regional leadership to lead successful builds and manage client expectations from kickoff to closeout.
Responsibilities
- Leading project teams to achieve performance goals
- Overseeing scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and compliance
- Managing contract administration, billings, and profitability
- Coordinating with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Pursuing and processing change orders and added work opportunities
- Representing Walker at client meetings and job progress check-ins
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience in network/structured cabling
Required Skills
- Experience managing projects ranging from $1M to $5M
- RCDD certification (in good standing with BICSI) — or the ability to sit for the exam within 6 months
- Strong background in data centers, with additional experience in hospital or commercial projects being a plus
- Experience with security and AV systems is a bonus
- Skilled in cost control, procurement, scheduling, and documentation
- OSHA-30 certified (or willing to obtain within 6 months)
- Tech-savvy with strong MS Office skills and the drive to master new platforms
