International Medical Group, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Senior Software Developer.
The position is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, but remote work within the U.S. will also be considered.
This role involves designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software applications and components. The successful candidate will support and install software applications, utilizing established development tools, guidelines, and conventions, primarily using C#, ASP.NET, and Angular. Additionally, the role includes consulting with the business and other developers to design solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software applications and components;
- Work from written specifications and pre-established guidelines, maintaining documentation of process flow;
- Utilize development tools and standards including ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, .NET, WCF, SOAP, RESTful Services, and C#;
- Design, code, and test new Windows and web applications;
- Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, planning, and identifying areas for modification and improvement;
- Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting defects;
- Perform code reviews;
- Investigate and develop skills in new technologies;
- Create technical specifications and test plans.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation.
