Position Overview:
- Work on large-scale, customer-facing websites and/or mobile apps using React and Next.js
- Contribute to and lead ongoing greenfield and modernization initiatives
- Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering squads in an Agile environment
- Profile and optimize frontend performance using tools like Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, etc.
- Debug and refactor existing code, identifying technical deficiencies and opportunities for improvement
- Support the build and maintenance of API integrations (e.g., Search API, Fulfillment API)
- Optionally contribute to mobile app features using React Native
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of professional experience with React.js and Next.js
- Proven experience building and maintaining large-scale customer-facing websites
- Strong understanding of SSR/CSR concepts and modern web optimization strategies
- Experience with core application development (not just component-level work)
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in cross-functional squads
- Local to Nashville or willing to work onsite 2+ days/week
