Join the power movement as a Senior Supplier Integration Manager
The role of the Supplier Integration Management team is to integrate suppliers into the early stages of product design, ensure flawless execution of the procurement contracts and optimize schedule, cost, and quality.
The Sr Supplier Integration Manager is an expert in technical sourcing, speaks the language of engineers, and understands how to marshal internal and external resources in support of project objectives. They are accountable for supply chain activities for the Power systems (strategic sourcing, tactical procurement and supplier management) and are accountable for meeting the internal customers’ needs.

Travel to supplier locations (including international) will be required, up to 25%.
What you’ll do:
Act as a primary strategic sourcing expert for their assigned project teams, focused primarily on new products development activities
Own the costed bill of materials for purchased components for their assigned project teams, and co-lead cost reviews
Own and drive the make/buy process for their respective systems
Drive sourcing projects, coordinating cross-functionally and adhering to commodity strategies where applicable (including: gather and interpret technical and non-technical requirements, create or review statements of work, identify potential suppliers)
Negotiate short and long-term agreements for parts, subassemblies, finished goods, equipment, and/or services
Create and manage purchase orders
Monitor suppliers throughout the execution of the contracts, with support from the assigned Supplier Development Engineer(s)
Report out on project status, risks and issues to the supply chain and the systems leadership teams
Support cost savings initiatives, lead time improvement projects, and quality improvement projects
Define or collaborate on project procurement or commodity strategies
Visit suppliers as necessary to conduct business reviews or check on project milestones
Negotiate internally and externally at high levels or with persons of influence frequently.
Adhere to all supply chain policies, procedures, guidelines and instructions including those regarding the procurement of materials, intellectual property, and export compliance
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in the field of Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Finance or other related field
10+ years’ related work experience in a manufacturing environment
Previous experience designing or sourcing equipment for industrial electrical systems (such as transformers, reactors, switchgear, power supplies and power generation systems)
Demonstrated ability to interpret technical documents and estimate costs, estimate lead times, and identify the best value supplier
Proven experience in supporting new product introduction activities for highly technical products
Exceptional understanding of strategic sourcing skills and tools
Exceptional interpersonal skills in a matrixed team environment
Strong relationship building skills
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks

Strong Customer Service skills
Remarkable problem-solving skills
Works well under pressure
Possesses excellent judgement
Ability to read blueprints/drawings, interpret specifications and review statements of work
General understanding of enterprise quality system functionality (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, TS16949, etc.)
General understanding of ERP systems and MRP logic
Bonus points for:
Master’s degree in the field of Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or other related field
Previous experience in a start-up or high growth environment
Previous experience sourcing engineered systems and complex work packages
Previous experience with new product introduction or sourcing for research and development
Experience with financial control systems or cost accounting structures
Must-have Requirements:
Perform extended activities such as stooping, climbing, typing, standing, sitting, etc.
Perform extended periods of phone or teleconference work
Willingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call regularly; travel expected to be minimum 25% including International travel
Work in a facility that contains industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics
$80,000 – $180,000 per year
Salary range for this full-time position + equity + benefits. The actual salary will depend on level, location, qualifications, and experience. The range displayed on each job posting reflects new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Benefits include:
