Who You Are
- Minimum of 2 years paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using commercial tax preparation software.
- Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws, with an active PTIN.
- Passionate about helping clients navigate taxation complexities and committed to delighting customers and empowering them to prepare their taxes.
- Excellent customer service skills, comfortable interacting via video and audio tools professionally and confidently.
What You Need
- Internet connection meeting security criteria (must have or be willing to obtain).
- Availability to work at least 20 hours per week across three or more days.
What You Will Do
- Assist customers in completing their taxes using TurboTax products, providing tax advice, full-service return preparation, tax calculations, and managing inquiries.
- Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver accurate answers in everyday language.
- This is a virtual, customer-facing role using video communication software, with documentation of interactions for record-keeping.
