As theSenior Vice President of Clinical Programs, you will be the executive leader responsible for shaping, scaling, and optimizing Progyny's clinical product strategy and program execution. Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, this role will oversee multiple clinical program lines and lead a high-performing team of Directors and Product Managers. You will drive innovation, ensure clinical integrity and regulatory alignment, and champion data-driven outcomes across our entire clinical portfolio.
This role is critical to ensuring that Progyny remains at the forefront of family-building and women's health solutions by delivering exceptional member experiences, proven clinical outcomes, and scalable, compliant programs for our clients.
What You'll Do...
Lead the strategic visionand direction for all clinical programs, guiding new product development and scaling existing offerings in alignment with company growth.
Directly manage and mentor a team of Clinical Program Directors, providing executive oversight on prioritization, roadmap development, and performance delivery.
Ensureclinical excellence and integrityin all product lines-balancing innovation with regulatory, compliance, and quality standards.
Drive investment decisions based on clinical outcomes, client needs, and business objectives.
Partner with key stakeholders acrossClinical, Engineering, Product Strategy, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, BI, and Financeto ensure seamless product development and launch readiness.
Serve as an executive partner in client conversations and represent clinical programs inC-suite meetings, board updates, and strategic partnerships.
Oversee achievement and design ofPerformance Guaranteesand ensure they are supported by operational and clinical data.
Champion adata-first approachto program management by partnering with Analytics and BI to monitor KPIs and continuously improve product effectiveness.
Secure and manage external consultants or clinical specialists as needed to support subspecialty development and program expansion.
Collaborate with Product Marketing and Sales leadership to ensure product positioning and enablement is aligned with market needs.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability across the clinical product organization.
About You...
12+ years of experience in healthcare clinical program development, preferably in family-building, reproductive health, or women's health.
6+ years ofexecutive or senior leadership experiencemanaging multi-disciplinary teams across product, clinical operations, or program strategy.
Strong clinical background preferred (e.g., RN, NP, MD, PhD) or deep familiarity with clinical protocols, outcomes, and compliance in healthcare settings.
Demonstrated success launching and scaling clinical programs that integratetechnology, provider networks, and member services.
Experience working across cross-functional product teams, particularly in high-growth or regulated healthcare environments.
Deep understanding ofregulatory guidelines, clinical quality metrics, and compliancein healthcare program design.
Proven track record managing Performance Guarantees, clinical KPIs, and contract-driven outcomes.
Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong ability to influence at all levels.
