Opportunity Overview
Teradyne is seeking a highly creative college intern to join our Silicon Photonics Test Solutions Team on-site in North Reading, MA. This team is responsible for developing industry-leading products for measuring silicon photonic devices. You'll work closely with various engineering disciplines, software, test, and operations teams to tackle complex problems and find innovative solutions.
Collaborate with Software Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Optical engineers, and Test Development engineers to solve problems
Collaborate with junior and senior engineers on system integration
Debug issues with prototype hardware
Perform basic software coding and test programs for lab equipment automation

Pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in optics, or engineering
Hands-on lab experience with optical equipment or fiber optics is a plus
Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to plot data for analysis
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision
Eagerness to learn and unafraid to ask questions
