Job Summary
The Architect role requires a seasoned professional with 12 to 16 years of experience specializing in wmA UI Architecture Psft- Program Management and Sitecore. The candidate will work in a hybrid model during day shifts contributing to projects in Energy Supply & Trading and Utilities domains. This position does not require travel.

Required Qualifications
BS/MS in Computer Science or related fields.
Minimum 12+ years of industry experience building sophisticated web-based Sitecore CMS solutions.
Extensive working experience in Sitecore XM Cloud
Extensive working experience in NextJS, GraphQL & Headless Architecture.
Strong knowledge of .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API.
Experience in database technologies such as SQL Server.
Experience in front-end technologies such as HTML5, Responsive web design, JavaScript/JQuery, etc.
Experience with Azure App Services & Azure DevOps
Experience in integrating a variety of 3rd party solutions.
Strong understanding of Agile Development Methodology
Roles/Responsibilities
Hands-on development with Sitecore XM Cloud, Sitecore Headless NextJS, and GraphQL.
· Create overall Design, Sitecore components, Templates.
· Design 3rd Party Integrations.
Identify & Define application design patterns.
Deep understanding of Sitecore Architecture and Design, API's and Security Models.
Able to come up with Sitecore application, technical & integration architecture.
Work with Product Owners and Business Analysts to review and understand current and future state requirements.
Identify challenges and risks involved in implementation.
Estimate time and effort required to satisfy requirements.
Assess the capability of the development team and identify gaps.
Respond to all queries related to Sitecore capability.
Establish best practices around Sitecore development and guide the development team in following them.
Guide the development team on unit testing their code.
Establish coding standards for Sitecore development.
Perform code review and identify deviations from coding standards.
Establish branching, merging, and deployment strategies to move code to higher environments
Defend best practices and raise red flags if there is a deviation from these best practices.
Able to collaborate with all teams in an open and respectful communication.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $ 88,200 to $ 139,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
