Job Title: Skilled Production Worker
Job Description
Join our team for a 1st shift position from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, working primarily within the deburr, powder coat, and finishing department. You will utilize hand tools and small power tools to safely remove burrs and create edge breaks, inspect part dimensions to ensure they adhere to blueprint specifications, and identify any quality issues.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints to verify configurations meet requirements.
Utilize measuring equipment such as gauges, scales, and calipers.
Pretreat, clean, mask, prime, and powder coat a variety of parts as needed.
Assist with material handling work, including manual lifting.
Load parts correctly onto the line for maximum line capacity.
Apply plugs and tape onto parts.
Work with a grinder to prep materials to be welded on.
Assist with sanding, grinding, and deburring steel components and materials.
Cross-train in the machining department, assisting with machine setups and loading/unloading materials and finished products.
Maintain housekeeping and area upkeep.
Engage in various production and labor-intensive tasks while standing all day.
Essential Skills
Proficient with hand and power tools.
Experience in deburring and grinding parts.
Experience working within a welding/fabrication environment.
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to manually move materials and perform heavy lifting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in machine helper roles, production, construction, manufacturing, and general labor.
Knowledge in reading and interpreting blueprints.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
