Job Description:
The lead instructor plays a pivotal role in understanding and promoting the school's mission, vision, objectives, and policies inside and outside the immediate school community. This position is responsible for providing a holistic classroom/instructional program that supports students' individual needs in alignment with the school's mission and vision. This role requires internal collaboration with Learn To Thrive leadership as well as representing Learn To Thrive Education to parents and children with a high degree of professionalism.
Lead Teacher:
- Collaborate with colleagues and school curriculum specialist to develop a strategic and comprehensive curriculum and execute innovative lessons in all core subject areas that will foster positive learning experiences and inspire, critical thinking, exploration, creativity, self-expression, and independence.
- Cultivate an inclusive and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to embrace differences, express themselves authentically, foster independence, and push creative boundaries across all subject areas.
- Encourage students to embrace failure as a natural part of the creative process, providing constructive feedback and guidance to refine their ideas.
- Stay informed about emerging trends, resources, and best practices in education, continuously enhancing students' learning experiences.
- Emphasize critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity in all aspects of teaching.
- Create a safe, inclusive learning environment that promotes student well-being and personal growth.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely student support and feedback to families and collaborating teachers.

Record student attendance daily.
Design and decorate classroom and bulletin boards that are aesthetically pleasing.

Be responsible for preparing an environment where the furnishings and materials are complete and meet the group's needs; maintaining a clean, orderly, and attractive environment, including the care and maintenance of classroom materials and equipment; and maintaining inventory of classroom materials.

Model and teach conflict resolution and problem-solving strategies in the classroom.
